Upgrading 7 day 2 park ticket to annual pass

I have a 7 day 2 park ticket that I purchased a couple of years ago for only $90. I'm thinking about upgrading it to an AP so I can get the hotel discount when staying on site. How much would it cost me to upgrade to an AP? Would I pay the difference from the $90 I paid for the ticket, or for what the ticket is actually worth today?

Also, do I have to upgrade my ticket before I use it, or can it be upgraded after I've used it, but before the 14 day time limit is up?

You will pay the difference between what you paid for the ticket and the AP price. You can upgrade it anytime before the ticket expires.
