Hi,
I have a recently purchased, unused 4 Day Park Hopper that was purchased at our local Disney Store.

I'd like to know how to go about upgrading it to an AP, which will need to be done before check-in to our resort.

And lastly, will the full amount of the Park Hopper be applied towards the AP?

Thanks,
Mark

I upgraded my seven day park hopper to an annual pass once. The full amount of the hopper was put towards the annual pass.

I see you are staying at the BCV. Assuming that you will be arriving when the parks are opening, your best bet would be to the BCV, and walk to the International Gateway entrance to Epcot (less than ten minutes). You should be able to upgrade your pass at Guest Services there.

Make sure you check the date of activation - The computers default to date of PH purchase - We had this problem with DH's AP, which was upgraded from a PH - It was resolved, but it took nearly an hour to do so & required a manager to override their system......

I was going to post this as we had this problem as well. The computer actually defaulted to the date the PH was printed not even the date we purchased it, luckily I had the original receipt.

The first AP the CM issued was good for about a week! It also took alot of time and a manager to get the process done. I was also made to feel that I was getting an exception - didn't like that.

To the OP be sure you take your PH, and your receipt and watch the dates. If the PH is indeed unused you should get full credit for the amount you paid toward the price of the AP. Check to be sure that the AP is good for one year from the date you do this "purchase".

TJ-
I was told by the first CM that we were wrong! I, luckily, had the reciept for the upgrade. Even then - the first CM acted put-out. The manager, however, was a dream. He fixed it right away & told us that it is actually very common - he was the one who told us about the default in the computer software that causes this....
