Upgrading 3rd Party Disneyland Tickets

Hi everyone! We are planning a Disneyland trip in September of 2020 and would like to buy tickets from undercover tourist and then upgrade them to a Deluxe Passport with MaxPass. Can we buy the tickets right now from ut or will current tickets expire in December 2018? If they expire in 2018 is it best to buy them in mid 2019? Does Disneyland price bridge the tickets? We are DVC members, will we get a $20 discount on the Deluxe Passport? We haven't been to Disneyland since 2005 and are looking forward to 2020, even though it's 2 looong years away. Tbh I believe you are planning too far out. So much can happen to DL tickets between now and sept 2020. How bridging will work, how (and if) upgrading will be allowed we simply don’t know at this point.

You can buy tickets that far out yet. and last minute travel club has cheapest 3rd party tickets anyway.

Thank you so much for the information. It seems a lot has and can change by the time we go in 2020. We will need to see what will happen next year then make some decisions.
