Upgrading 3 days on 2 used hoppers to a 5 day hopper?

Sorry search is down.

I have 2 hopper tickets with a total of 3 days left on them. Can I take the 2 hoppers and upgrade to a 5 day hopper when I arrive? How can I find out the cost of the upgrade? And I assume I can only do this at Guest Services in WDW.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry, you can't upgrade two old park hoppers for one new one.

You should be able to determine approximately what the cost to upgrade would be by taking the amount paid (should be on the back) and prorating it, then subtracting that from the current price. For example, if you paid $200 for a 5-day pass and have two days left, you would get $80 credit. Subtract that from the current price, which you can look up under "tickets" on the main page of this site.

Hi VWL Five!

You cannot "upgrade" your remaining days. What can be done is that Disney will give you the value of your 2 days (5 divided by the price that you paid for the pass originally times 2 - any "plusses" have no value) towards the purchase of new passes.

If you purchased the passes a while ago, it may make more financial sense to just use up the days that you already have and then buy new passes to use now.

I hope that this makes sense...

Thanks for responding.

So I have 2 days left on one 4 day hopper which looks like it was $144 way back when. So half of that is $72. Today's 5 day is $217 so do i get $72 off the $217? I guess it's really off the gate price of $239 since i have to do this at WDW.

Do I have it?

That sounds right. You do know that you can just use the old hopper, right? If they have the magnetic strip, you just use them at the gate. If they are really old, when they used to hand stamp them, you'll have to exchange them at guest services. We did that last May with one MK only pass from 1981 and one MK/Epcot pass from 1986! Two days for a junior at MK in 1981 was $18!!! It was much better to use it then get the big $9 credit!

Yeah I was going to use the 3 days but i need 2 more. So I thought the 5 day hopper solution. But i read somewhere that they have 2 day tickets (not from Disney) but forget if they were hopper capable or not.
