Tony Toon and I have been here from the 1st July staying in SSR with free DDP. Had a fantastic time so far. We check out tomorrow to head down the Gulf Coast for a week, returning to stay in a villa on the 18th until we head for home again on the 29th. Decided to do our usual this morning at HS, renewing our APs (which expired on the 7th) by trading in our 21 Day Ultimates from our DDP. Worth it to save on the parking alone The girl we got offered to do this for $160.81 per AP but said this would only update our pass from the 2nd July - the day we first entered MK- rather than the 7th. I said I wasn't happy with this so she got a manager. He then proceeded to update both APs for $108.62 in total for both ($54.31 each)! Needless to say I agreed and paid asap before he could change his mind! Result.

Initially I was only going to upgrade 1 pass for the parking but when I realised the deal I was being offered...... Maybe we can sneak another wee trip in at some other point. :)

That's amazing! Hoping we get some luck with our upgrades this year as last year was nightmare both times we tried!

Just out of interest did you use GS or a ticket window?

What should be my target price for upgrading 21 day tickets to AP,s? Do I do it at the start or the end of the holiday?? any tips greatly appreciated ! We have 3 adult tickets and 1 child ticket.

When I did it a few years ago I worked out the cost in Dollars of my 21 day ticket, took that value away from the cost of an AP and that was my maximum price. We easily beat it.
I did ours near the end but the CM made a mistake and gave us a start date same as conversion date rather than from the day we first used our 21 day tickets.

We did it at GS. I've done it here in the past and also GS at DTD.

As wayneg has said, I worked out how much my 21 Day pass was worth in $s, how much my renewal was and then that left me with a rough figure of how much I thought I should be paying - I reckoned about $130 - $140. Can't remember exact figures now, but the CM offered me over $535 for my 21-Day Ultimate, the AP renewal was $590 +a few cents hence the difference of $54+! Don't know if that's of any help.
