Upgrading 1 day ticket to 2 day ticket?

Can you upgrade a 1 day ticket to a 2 day ticket? Do you pay the difference in cost of what you already paid? If so do you have to call or do this in person?

You can do it anytime, but lines can be very long and slow moving. If possible, try to go to the ticket booths the night before.

Yes! My friend recently had to upgrade a ticket and it took 40 minutes! She went during the morning rush. So go at night or very early.

Yes, you have to do it in person at the ticket booths. If you go way before park opening (60-90 minutes probably) the line will be non existent. I believe you have to upgrade the ticket before it stops being valid (so you have to upgrade it before the 1 day is used and the park is closed).

Just to add, make sure that your ticket is not a comp (free) ticket. If your ticket is a regular, paid for/has monetary value ticket (should say so at the bottom, on the back), then you will just pay the difference between the 1 day and the upgrade.
