Upgrading 1 day park to park ticket

Can they be upgraded at the park like WDW tickets? I bought 1 day tickets from Undercover Tourists, but if the kids absolutely love Universal we might be able to squeeze in a 2nd day on our last day in Florida. If so, do we need to wait to use them like you do for the Disney tickets?

You can upgrade the tickets at Guest Services in either park. Just make sure to do it before you leave the park or they will be considered expired.
