Upgrades

I have heard many of you talk about the upgrades you have been given in places where you used your DVC points. I was given a very nice upgrade at the Grand Hotel at Mackinac Island. One person said he or she had been upgraded at the Polynesian. Any other lucky people?

the wdw resort use to always upgrade DVC members - but that was before the new policy - where the room you get is what you paid the points for - I have not heard of any upgrades since the point system for the WDW resorts.
