I am thinking of using my Southwest Rapid reward points to purchase 3 tickets (1 day/2park). The tickets are one-day only.

Will it be possible to upgrade them to a 2-day tickets upon arrival at the US parks?

Thanks for any advice. We are newbies to US parks.

Is there a US ticket office number I can call? I did not see it online.

It is possible to upgrade tickets like that. You just need to go to customer service once inside the park to upgrade them. I did something similar with a one-day, two-park ticket from Chase Rewards in October.

thanks. I did call the US ticketing office today and they could not assure me that I would be able to upgrade them at all. I hated to spend 15,000 pts per ticket and not know if I could upgrade them to a 2-day or Annual Pass.

Do you know if your tickets from Southwest were marked "complimentary". They indicated if they were, I would not be able to upgrade.

Has anyone else had luck in upgrading them also?

Until you have the tickets in hand and they can be scanned at the park, there is no way to tell. "Complimentary" tickets do scan as zero $ value and can't be upgraded but I don't know if all rewards tickets are lablled as complimentary.

You could get the reward tickets but don't use them to enter the park. Go to Guest Services window outside the park and let them scan them first. If they can upgrade them do it then. If they can't upgrade, let one person use one ticket for one day and a second ticket for the second day and then just buy multiday tickets or annual passes for everyone else.
