The theme is Alice in Wonderland . . . I know, I know, sounds tackily over the top from the name, but someone posted pictures once, subtle pastels colors and not over the top at all . . . We are going to SL concierge in a week and a half, the 31st of August until September 7, so will post a report when we get back. You merely tell the greeters I think that let you out of your automobile and they will direct you to SL. You can call the concierge, I think that they are spotty about just contacting you, but that said, they have been very helpful and wonderfully nice, especially Clark who works there, and he suggested a top floor marina view as the view of the water is supposedly very nice at night. The views are either marina or garden/pool . . . You should call to make reservations for food, we decided on one meal a day as we plan to take advantage of the food offerings, my understanding is that when the concierge makes the reservations you get a 'VIP" next to your name and get the best seats, ie window seat for fireworks night at the california grill for instance. You might also consider splurging on one of the hard to get items such as the chef's table at Victoria and Alberts, or a fireworks cruise, or cirque de soliel (where they have the best seats reserved for VIP).
