Upgraded to CSR with Visa Deal!

DoubleDown7, I think you can contact Disney directly for details.

I know that if you contact Dreams Unlimited (the DIS sponsor) they can provide you the information. You can contact them through the DIS Home link above the forum.:thumbsup2

I use a different agency, but have heard good things about Dreams Unlimited, too.

I have also upgraded to CSR from ASMo this morning!

11-15 to 11-25 (10 nights)
9 day base ticket
w/ dining plan

Before code - ASMo $2910.17
After code - CSR $2770.11
saved $140

it looks like there is alot of us upgrading to CSR from the values, I can't wait to see this resort.

How good of my chances of requesting a close room to the main amenities- say one of the buildings of Casita- excuse me cuz I am new to this resort.

It does not hurt to ask for a building number with your travel agent or if you booked thru CRO- ask them to note it. We were at Casitas 3 and about a minutes walk to El Centro. Loved the look and feel of the casitas- coming back from the park in the evening made you just want to relax. If you are pool people you probably dont want the casitas.

this resort is beautiful ...I have to say we had a wonderful time. The beds are great. Be sure to have dinner in the Maya Grill as the food and service we had there was very good.

Thanks to an email Pin code I was able to upgrade from POP to CSR! This will be our first time there. :cloud9:
We will only have 3 nights there prior to our first cruise on the Magic, but I have a feeling we'll love it. I am working 7 days a week now to pull this trip off!

CSR is an awesome resort! Have a great trip!

All you guys are so lucky to be going to CSR and for such a good price! I'm jealous. CSR is my favorite mod. :thumbsup2

There are 4 stops for the resort. Read buzz's site about the bus stops. IIRC the park busses start at stop #2, then 3 then 4 then 1, which is el centro (check in area) that is so folks can actually take the bus to the check in without having to walk the whole way. On return to the resorts, they start at 1 (el centro) then 2, 3, and 4. I think I did that right, but check out his site which is great!

That reminds me... is there a post that says which bus stop is 1, 2, 3 and 4? I know 1 is El Centro but which stop is which for the rest?

casitas = bus stop 2
ranchos = bus stop 3
cabanas = bus stop 4

We went through our AAA agent and he told me what code it was but Now I dont remember but it only cost us 117.00 more dollars to stay at csr than at all star and that is for 9days so only 13.00 more dollars a day! When visa sent us the email I just called my AAA and he got it for us.

we did request close to pepper market or pool since we have small kids 4 in all going grand gatherings with friends so I sure hope we do get close to the front does anyone know when you can find out where you are ?????
We would love to know before we actually get there since we are insane planners and not familiar with this resort! So siked!

you will find out where you are at checkin- it will be great regardless - have a wonderful pixie dust filled vacation!

I am a Disney Visa card holder as well. Can someone please explain what the deal is and how we can share in it. Thanks in advance for any help given. :thumbsup2

You should have gotten an e-mail with a discount code to use. You might want to check on the CODES AND RATES board for more info.

Just upgraded to CSR from POP for Nov. 30 - Dec 7. Upgrade was only $120 more. Glad to see many others taking adavantage of Disney VISA discount too.

I visited Buzz's CSSR website and it answered all questions and concerns that I may have had. Thanks Buzz.

We will be celerating our 20th anniversary and our son's 13th birthday while we are there. Any suggestions as how to make this an extra special memory? We have made notes on all ADRs and I plan to call Coral Reef to get personalized menus for the occasions. Will CSR do anything for the occasion?
