I am so excited!
Grand Floridian Main Building Concierge...my dream location!
And they let me keep my 40% off code...I am amazed, thrilled and almost speechless

I posted a few weeks ago about a reservation problem when booking with my code, and although the thread got closed, I want to thank the people who suggested that I call and ask if I can still pay to upgrade. The thread got out of hand, but there were some great people there who were very kind. Thank you all!

So, I asked my TA to call yesterday, without complaining at all, and she was able to help me keep my discount but still upgrade to RPC Concierge at the Grand Floridian. And my favorite part is neither of us contacted Disney to complain, no one is in trouble and I do not have a red flag in the computer saying I am a nut job. She just called and asked about paying the difference in room prices and Disney waved their magic wand and now I am thrilled beyond belief. (So happy I was doing the happy dance around the kitchen at 10pm last night.)

I can't wait!!!!

BTW: I received my very first pin code mailer, 30% off, my name, expiration 6/17/2008 (I am still looking at it), SO EXCITED. I call on 6/10 to inquire of my offer for a possible Nov/Dec trip and CM told me it was already expired...Wha? I said whatever, and hung up.

Congratulations! I happened across "that other thread" and stopped reading because people were being mean and that's not what I want to see here on the DIS.

We're hoping for a little pixie dust of our own...don't laugh too hard...we've managed to get RPC for our stay (a brief add on to a Wish Trip for our son), now we're hoping that a Deluxe room will just fall out of inventory and into our TA's lap for us!

Don't give up hope. I reserved a standard RPC room because there were no deluxe rooms available and my TA called the other day and I got it for all five nights and over Christmas! Good luck!
