Upgraded -- is this good?

I just called to make shore excursion ressies, and I asked if we'd been assigned to a cabin yet (we'd reserved a GTY category 11). I found out we have been assigned a cabin: Number 2012, which is a category 9 very far forward.

Here's what I'm wondering:
Is this a good room? Looking at the map, I see it is right across the hall from the very few category 12 rooms, so I'm concerned that it might not be a prime location.

This is a deluxe oceanview room -- is it a one large porthole room, or is it one with two small portholes? Again, it's very far forward.

You will have one large porthole. Your room number is not listed in the rooms to avoid in the Passporter. I haven't checked the noisy list on line yet, I'll get back to you if it is listed. I think you have a great room , though I haven't seen one for myself.

We didn't hear excessive noise at all. You will be close to the stairs and elevators too. Have fun!!!
