Got an e-mail with a PIN to upgrade from Pop Century to Caribbean Beach Resort for $22/day. When we called in to do it, the CM said that all the Moderate rooms available for that promotion were sold out. We threw the Hail Mary and asked if we could get a similar upgrade to Deluxe. She checked her list (alphabetically) andsaid they were all sold out until she got to Yacht Club.

"Would you like to upgrade to Yacht Club from Pop Century for $55/day? she asked.

Would we?

Would we?!?

How about yeah!!

This is the 3rd upgrade email I have seen on the boards today! Keeping my fingers crossed for an email for my trip in Nov :)

That is a massive amount of Pixie Dust! pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

Congrats and enjoy every minute! :wizard:

The rack rate for Pop (room only) for our 5-night stay is $641 or $128 per night.

The rack rate for YC is $2616 or $475/night.

Our total per night room cost is now $183.

WOW Fantastic deal !!!!!

Wow Enjoy. We have FD so even if something like that came along it wouldn't work for us. But for those that dates fell out of the FD promo this is a awesome deal. :thumbsup2

Have a great trip!!:)

Wow what a deal. With a discount like that, you have saved more than you could have with the free dining offer. I love those upgrades.:cool1:

WOW! :banana::banana:

Seems like a lot of people are being offered an upgrade from a value. Values must be booked for free dining.

Good for you and congrats! :dance3:

We got one yesterday via email from Disney Destinations to switch from POFQ to SSR for $27 more for the night of 10/22/11. It was just for that night though, as on 10/23 we have another room only pin that kicks in for 35% off POFQ from 10/23 to 10/26 and then a switch to AKL for 40% off from 10/26-10/30. Don't think I want to switch hotels three times during our stay unless folks think it is worth it for the one night at SSR?

I wouldn't want to switch ONCE, let alone 3 times, but I do hear of it being done alot, its just not for me and something I'd do.

Probably not for one night. Also, if its a studio, no way would I switch, if its a one bedroom that might be fun but I still would probably naysay that one for your situation!

I love SSR but the studios really don't give you much over a moderate room.

I'd stay put, three moves is a lot (I have done it and said never again). Two moves is kind of fun though and a great way to experience different resorts!
