upgraded from Budget mid SUV deal

Just got back from a great trip! We had booked the mid size SUV thru Budget with the $169.00 deal for the week. My husband had really wanted a convertible, but it was over 300.00 for the week. When we checked in at Budget they asked us if we would like a convertible for the same rate!! My husband was very pleased. Just thought I would pass this on, don't know if it will happen again, but we were happy.

They offered that deal to us as well! Unfortunately, we had 5 people which is a little much for the convertable

We were upgraded to a Lincoln Town Car and my brother in law had a full size ford explorer.

What day of the week did you all get the car?

I wondering what the chances of our upgrade will be?

We got our car on Friday and my inlaws got theirs Saturday morning. The line without fast break was 1.5 hours long so I would get a Fastbreak card if you still have time.

We arrived on Monday at 10 am. We do have fast break so we had no wait at all.

We were upgraded to a Ford explorer on the same deal. We arrived about 12:30 a.m. Monday, 3/15th. Got another mid-SuV reserved for May but wouldn't mind getting upgraded again!!!!

I like Budget!!!!

Doesn't matter what city, we are always given an upgrade when we book the mid-SUV. The guy at one of the rental counters stated that they just don't have enough of them, but the system keeps booking them anyway.
