Upgradeable Tickets

Aloha,

Which parkhopper tickets can be upgraded at DLR to eight-days? I want to ensure that whichever tickets I do purchase, can be upgraded to eight days. I don't want to arrive at DLR and find out that the five-day parkhoppers I purchased can't be upgraded. I am planning on a late September 2012 eight day visit. Appreciate y'alls advice and wisdom!

I am 99% sure you can upgrade a 5 day hopper.I think you can upgrade any ticket as long as it is not a complimentary or free ticket.If I am wrong someone will be along shortly to straighten me out

What are you options?

If you are buying them from a source that anyone can buy from you sould be able to upgrade them with no problem. Although the catch is, if you get them at a discounted rate you lose the discount.

Once you pay to upgrade it to the price of a 6 day hopper, the additional days are $5 each.

We purchased our 5 day hopper tickets at a discount through getawaytoday.com. When we picked up our tickets at the park the price printed on the ticket was more than what we paid. When we upgraded our tickets it was based on the price printed on the ticket not what we actually paid. I think we saved about $25 per ticket.

Our GAT tickets had a higher price on them as well. It was the pre-purchase price (which was only about $4 more than what we had paid).
