Upgrade WDW Salute tickets to annual pass?

Does anyone know what the final cost would be to upgrade 5 day park hopper salute tickets to annual pass? My reading online indicated you "pay the difference" but I wasn't sure what that meant exactly.

well the salute tickets for a 5 day park hopper are $315. Assume the annual pass price is $1200. Does that mean I would pay $885 for an annual pass?

Assuming that they start selling AP's without raising the price first, probably. But it also depends on what they see the value as. It's why people like buying tickets for www.undercovertourist.com because they are discounted but once you've tapped into the park and it activates you generally have the full price.

Honestly, you'd get a much better answer over on TPAS on the tickets & how to upgrade thread. They are much more in the know of exactly how it should work vs people here.

Unless you qualify for a "recovery AP" because you had an AP during the covid closure, you will not be able to get a new AP until they start selling them again.

So for the moment the answer is that your need can not be met right now.
