Do all the GF concierge rooms have views of the lagoon/castle etc, or do you need to request that?

You need to request it. ONly 18 regular concierge rooms (that doesn't include a suite total) have the view of the castle. The other rooms either overlook the GF grounds, or the Wedding Pavilion. This is definately a request, and it is possible that it won't be granted.

I would love to be able to try GF! :flower: I don't care how stuffy others were, I'd just go enjoy myself. I figure my purpose would be to show them how much better they are than us lowlifes! :teeth:

Wow! I'm really feeling lucky that we got the castle view since we didn't request it and we were traveling with 2 other families. We were lined up 1,2,3 in a row over Gasparillas. It was an amazing trip!

On another note, if you aren't interested in paying the point difference for the concierge, then go with a lagoon view and request a top floor and castle view room of the Boca Chica or Conch Key buildings. In my opinion, the view of the castle and fireworks was equally as good from both of those buildings as it was from the main building concierge location. That view can make a trip - it's breathtaking - and the points would be significantly less. Of course that is just a request and it may not be granted. FWIW, each time I requested I got the view. Still, as much as our family enjoyed the GF, I like our DVC choices even better. It's hard to come back from a 2 bedroom to a standard hotel room. So many choices, so few vacations!! :wave2: :wave2:
