Upgrade to Club level at check-in?

This is our first trip to Universal. It will my husband and myself and our three teenagers. We are going to book one room at Hard Rock and take an air mattress. I would like to get a club level room, I just wondered if they offer any special deals to upgrade when you check in? If I book a club level now it would cost over $100 extra. We are going the first week in February.

a lot depends on the occupancy rate at the hotel when you check in.
when you check in, ask the TM how much would it cost to upgrade, provided they have rooms available.


there have been times i have been at hrh and there has been a sign on the check in counter in the lobby.

it stated something about inquire for upgrading and sometimes it listed a price.
i have seen anywhere from $50 to $100 a night for the upgrade to club.

if you are an All Access member of HRH/C, you can book a standard room and get a free upgrade to pool/water view.


to upgrade from a standard to club would be at the discretion of the person checking you in.


when you are in your room, push the Star service button on your in room phone.
ask them to bring linens, blankets, pillows to your room for the air mattress teen.

no charges for that.

Thanks for that information. I would love to get an upgrade for $50. I will keep my fingers crossed.

And it is nice to know that they will provide the bedding and pillows for the air mattress.

I am getting excited about out trip!
