upgrade tickets????

Here's my dilema. We've purchased 2 day get 3rd day free tickets for our April visit to Orlando. We have every intention of going to US/IOA all 3 days. BUT, on the Saturday we arrive (early) my DD and DH are going to an Anime convention on International drive.

I want to have a day at US/IOA by myself. Can I upgrade my ticket to an AP (that restricted one whatever the name is) when I get there?

I know Disney will allow me to upgrade my ticket, but I'd really rather go to US/IOA.

I don't know what you paid for your tickets but Universal Currently has BUY 2 Days Get 3 Free....it's only $99 for 5 days at US and IOA. From everything I have seen the 2 day passes are the same price. I would just get the 5 days....you can't beat the price and you can go back and forth between the parks. Good Luck. here's the link

Good suggestion, but we also paid $99 for the tickets, but they are good for 14 days. We plan on going to US/IOA on day 2 and day 8.

Anyone else know if I can upgrade to the Annual pass?

We bought a package deal through Travelocity. Hotel/Air/Tickets. Not sure if you can just get the tickets only.

You should be able to upgrade. I would hit guest services as soon as you get there. From other people's experiences that I've read here, you should have no problem.
