I currently have a garden view room booked, but have been thinking about upgrading to a lagoon view. Worth the money or not?

Thanks for advice

Not imo. We had garden view and it was perfectly fine. We don't spend copious amounts of time in our room, so the view really doesn't matter to us. We were perfectly content to walk outside and see the water and the castle. IMO, you're already spending a premium amount to just BE at the Poly. I'd rather spend the money it costs to upgrade to a view on something else. Everybody has their own preferences of course, but the garden view was just fine for us! We're planning another garden view, 1st floor Tokelau stay for August 2013 again!

Good luck with your decision! :goodvibes

I also don't really think it is worth it. We have always stayed in GV, including once CL (an upgrade), but I honestly love the standard garden views and don't think it is worth paying for the lagoon view. And I love nice views! I think the Polynesian is beautiful. I don't think lagoon would really enhance my experience. I just don't think that resort really has bad views. Obviously, some others feel differently, but our family has always been happy with garden view.

Not worth it to upgrade for me either. We had a great GV room in Tokelau, beach end of building, and from balcony if we looked to our right we could see the castle. Straight on we looked at Hawaii longhouse. But we just had to walk a short way to end of hall and stairs to go straight down to beach.
