Upgrade Question....

Ok, I am confused. We just recieved our room assignment, and I went to check where my room is in the Passporter and it is listed as a 6 but under my reservation it says Room # then under that it says Catagory 9 deluxe oceanview room but the number is for a Cat. 6. So does that mean we did get an upgrade? If so that would be so awsome!!

I have had that happen to me as well....all along it was listed as a GTY Cat 9 but when assigned the cabin number was for a different category.....we did get the higher category room....sometimes I think they just don't update the website with the new category #

Congrats! I bet you're as excited as I am. I just got upgraded from Cat. 9 to Cat. 6.

I believe that they keep the category the same to show which category you actually paid for. There was a case a few weeks ago where someone was upgraded then bumped back one before the cruise. That must be a reference point for them to keep track of the priority of upgrades. ????

Thank you everyone, I guess I am going to treat it as an upgrade. I am SOOO excited, we had an 11 on the Wonder last year that was shortened by the hurricaine so we were just happy to be going on the 7 day, this makes it extra special!! Happy cruising everyone!
