Upgrade or Change Resort?

So I booked DD and myself 4 nights at POFQ but recently I've seen some threads where people had rooms that were in bad repair or bad housekeeping and it's making me nervous. I got a pretty good deal, I think, but not if it's going to be like those people said.

Do I need to worry about it? Should I change Moderate resorts or upgrade to a Deluxe? I'm not even sure what's available, to be honest, as our trip is pretty soon (beginning of September).

Any thoughts? I'm not ordinarily super-picky about hotels, but I do want clean and in good repair.

You will probably find more people who like POFQ than complain about it. Some people get worked up about things that others don't even notice. I wouldn't worry about it.

Deluxe does not always = in better shape rooms (hearing horror stories about the poly lately and it is one of the most $$$)...

I am sure you will be fine! And if you really get into a bad room (or mousekeeping isnt doing a good job)... you can always asked to be moved

Just remember to physically go to the front desk - never call as the call willl go to a call center that is NOT at the resort

FQ is my favorite resort, I would suggest keeping your reservation there. You will find whiners who whine about everything and you just can't make them happy. Have a great trip, the resort is wonderful!

I wouldn't worry. People are more inclined to write a complaint than a praise IMO. You will probably love your experience. I hope you do.

Yeah, that's what I figured... just wanted reassurance. Anxiety gets the best of me sometimes.
