Upgrade on arrival

Hi wonder if anybody can tell answer this. We've booked with first choice standard room at riverside due to unexpected work I will be receiving a bonus so would I be able to ask for an upgrade to a preferred room on arrival if so how much would it cost do you think I don't want to do it via first choice as they will charge pp I think and Disney will charge per room

You can ask when you arrive, but if there is a preferred room available you will most likely be charged rack rate. On one of your other posts you mentioned being there at the beginning of September. Monday, Sept 5 is a holiday so resorts will probably be busier than the typical September weekend.
