Upgrade multi-day-ticket to Dream AP?

For the first time ever, I'm going to Disneyland Paris in march.
I never really wanted to go there even though its waaaaaaaaaay closer than WDW Orlando since I didn't think the french mentality works with the disney magic that I am used to. Anyway...now I just neet to go and see for myself wether I like it there or nor.
I am staying 3 nights/4 days and bought a 4 day ticket (4 days for the price of 3). The ticket was 169 € and I never really thought about the fact that an AP might be the same price offering more benefits.
Now...if I like Disneyland Paris...can I upgrade a multi-day-ticket to a Dream annual pass?
I just keep reading about upgrading one day tickets to AP's. Will I also be able to upgrade a 4-day-ticket it I do it on the first day I enter the parks? the upgrade would just be 30 € so it might as well be worth it.

Unfortunately not. Explanation here:

If you have bought a 1 Day 1 Park or 1 Day 2 Parks ticket to access the parks, the cost of this ticket in Euros can be deducted from the price of your Annual Passport if you purchase during your visit! Note: This is not possible for tickets of 2 Days or greater or those given through a hotel package (usually indicated with 'Forfait' on the reverse).

I can obviously understand why you cannot do so with package tickets, but I don't know why you cannot upgrade longer visi tickets to an AP.

You used to be able to upgrade a multi day ticket to an AP as long as it wasn't bought as part of a package.
We did it several yrs ago when we bought a ticket from the Disney store - 4 days for price of 3.
You could upgrade it on any day you liked but the amount you had to pay got higher the more days you had used

Not sure if the rules have changed but it would definitely be worth checking while you are there
