Upgrade Free Dining Package ticket to DVC AP

Has anyone done this? I'm thinking about booking a free dining package for December with a code, but I want an AP...so can I buy a ticket with my package and upgrade it to an AP with the DVC discount once I'm down there?

Yes, take your park ticket and your DVC Memebership Card to any Guest relations window outside one of the parks or DtD.

We did this in January during the 4 for 7 promotion (where you also had to buy tickets). We bought 1 day passes for my husband and myself and went to Epcot and were able to get the DVC discount and apply the one day tickets to the AP. Just make sure the CM remembers to apply the tickets to your passes! Ours forgot (after he cheerfully confirmed that he could do it) and he charged the full amount to my credit card for the DVC discounted annual passes and when I reviewed the amount with him we all realized he had forgotten to apply the tickets. He then just gave me cash for them. Stay alert and it should be easy-peasy

It was sent to me on a postcard. But there is a new code out today for Disney Visa holders.

The free dining reservations are a discount package/code being offered by CRO. Free dining is not available to DVCers staying on points.
