upgrade CS to WL, your thoughts, please.

Hi Im new here.... going to disney on Aug. 23 - Aug 26. was bummed about missing the free dining promo, but hoping crowds are less at this time.

I upgraded from Coronodo Springs to WL Woods view, for $50. using the discount code.... do you think this is a good upgrade. i am still getting the 4 day hopper and dining plan. The code would have given me a $200. discount on CS or for $50 more, WL...

I am happy that its closer to MK but worried about the bus to the other parks....

do you know if it is a zero entry pool?

Also, does the boat leave early enough for me to do the magical beggining extra morning hour for MK?

We have never stayed at cs but we LOVE the lodge!! I think being able to get to the mk by boat is really nice. We love being able to see wishes at night and watch the electric light parade. The pool is not zero entry but it is a really nice pool. I don't think you will be disappointed with your choice.

I've never been to CSR, but we were at WL in 2004 and we loved it!

It isn't magnificent in terms of transportation, but it isn't awful either. We didn't have many waits for the buses or boats, however there was one VERY late bus that was supposed to take us to DTD. Of course it isn't on the monorail route, so that is a minor drawback if you spend a lot of time in the MK.

No, the pool is not zero entry, however the pool's theme makes up for that. The kids really enjoyed the pool and slide!

As for the boat leaving early, I have no idea. Maybe check out WDW Info (www.wdwinfo.com).

My advice. Don't use the boat first thing in the morning. One time when we went we had to wait for the 4th boat before we were able to board. In the morning it starts at FW, then stops at WL before going to MK. In the afternoon its reversed. WL does have a bus to MK. One time we just missed it and 10 mins later it was back. For other parks we drive. But when we stay at WL its because we are usually doing a MK trip only.
