Is this experience helping to make you less unhappy with Disney now? You have clearly been very negative toward them for many months here on the DIS, even saying you would never go back again.

This is a good thing. Why you keep saying that I said I would never go back again is beyond me. Can you find that quote? I think not.

Anyways, I am very happy you received such an upgrade. Congrats! POFQ is a marvelous resort. However, I hope kind corporate gestures like this will change your thoughts on Disney's corporate greed...

Yes this must be the exact quote I remember. I apologize if I paraphrased incorrectly.

Yes, I was right. I never said that. Some haters just gonna hate. I tell it like it is. The good and the bad of Disney. I am not blindsided to either.

It's funny. I LOVE POFQ. Really do. But I would consider the River View the least desirable rooms there! I know they cost more and people may enjoy the view but they're the furthest from everything. Now, the resort is tiny so nothing's very far, but they'd be the furthest from the bus stop, from the food court, the gift shop, etc. And I never cared about the view--with no balcony it's no like you're sitting outside relaxing and enjoying the view! I never quite understood why they would consider this such an upgrade.

I totally agree about the POFQ River rooms. They tried to upgrade me from standard to River last time we were there, but I asked if I could have a garden room instead. I prefer standard in building 4, or garden in building 5 to be closer to the buses and the food court.

Hey, I have also gotten late check-out for tomorrow. Got my one night stay for a check-in at 9:30 and a late check-out at 1 p.m. More pixie dust! I will give a full review next week. The good and the bad.

The river view rooms are a little further. But I do admit it's nice to watch the boats at times. Ok, going to bed now. Good night to all.
