Does anyone know if I can upgrade my WDW Annual pass to the Premier that includes DL? I just have the basic annual pass, not the premium, and I am going to DL for the first time in August. TYVM!
I have a Disneyland premium AP. I was able to upgrade to the Premiere AP using my 7day WDW park hopper tickets. I think you have to have the premium pass to upgrade. I would check the price to upgrade to premium and then to premier vs just paying for the Disneyland tickets. It may be cheaper to buy the Disneyland tickets, unless you are planning more DL trips before your current pass expires.

You can upgrade any valid DL or WDW to the Premier. You just pay the difference from your current AP to the Premier. For example: The current price for the Premier is $773.34 (including tax) then you minus the Regular AP which is $552.74 (including tax) and you pay $220.60 from upgrading to the Premier.
I had a WDW regular AP and upgraded to the Premier pass at DLR. We had to purchase a single day ticket to DLR because the AP processing center is inside the park. They applied the price of the one day ticket to the upgrade cost. It took a bit of time at the AP center, but it wasn't hard.
With the price difference of $220, as long as you'll be in Disneyland for 4 or more days it'll be worth it (not taking into account the discounts on food and merchandise).
