Upgrade a Costco resveration to Concierge

Hi,
I want to book our Oct trip to Disneyland through Costco to get the free character brekafast, Toontown Madness, and $20 in gift card, but I would also like to add on Concierge at the DLR. Right now costco is not giving me the option. Does anyone know if it is possible to add it on with costco?

It is actually strange - last year the only room I was able to get through Costco was concierge. I have learned this year that concierge is typically a $100-$150/day addition - so you might double check by calling the hotel to find out if they would allow you to add.

Typically too, DL will run 4th night free in October - so depending on your dates and length of stay - you might want to wait to book - the rates came out last June - and there was no problem booking a room then.

Call their ressie number and ask. You are not given the option on the web site. The also have not been offering suites, but things change.

That's crazy - I guess it just depends on what rooms they get when - last year the only option when I booked was to get concierge - but I had already told DH the price it quoted me and he was ok with it - so heck I booked it!!

I just got off the phone with Disney resverations and they said if you book Costco you can not upgrade to concierge. UGH! So I had to choose between concierge and the free charcter breakfast.

Anyone know if you can upgrade directly through the hotel?

I can't believe they won't let me upgrade... I mean come on I will be spending almost $500 more dollars you would like they would find a way.

Depends on when you are going. We already have a reservation for the PPH from May 15-19. I tried to upgrade yesterday to concierge. They don't have any available!

It is not how much money you spend it is the deal they cut with disney travel. You can upgrade if they have the availablility.

Yep, so far it is looking like a no go. The hotel will only upgrade if there is availablity at check in. I don't want to take that risk.

Back to the drawing board. LOL

We are going the 13th - 17th. It is my parents 30th wedding anniversary so my sister and her family and mine are meeting my parents there. This will be mine and my kids first trip to Disneyland. I am very excited!
