Not possible. A city pass if for 3 days, that's it. Now you can get the city pass and then pay for one day online or buy a single day ticket at the gate once your there, but City Pass wont go above the 3 days. But the city pass is a great bargain, we have used it 3 times now, and the money you save will help pay for that 4th day.

I'm sure I've read of people upgrading their City pass to an AP, so my first thought would be that you can upgrade, but I don't know what value they would credit you for the Disneyland portion of the City pass.

Good point.... I don't know if Disneyland would do it or not, but I know City Pass won't, we tried. Call Disneyland, they would tell you for sure.

Yes you can do it. They will credit you the value of a 3 day pass, so it's only about $25/person to add a day.

This is what I heard too. I plan to try it in March. Disneyland give you credit for the 3 day hopper. I just looked it up on the DL website and 3 day hoppers are going for $250. A four day hopper is $275. So you pay the difference which would be $25.

It's somewhere on the Citipass website. Maybe in the FAQ?

Hi there,
Disneyland will allow you to upgrade. They will give you a $250 credit for an adult CityPASS and a $235 credit for youth CityPASS (ages 3-9) towards the upgrade of your choice (at the current gate price). Hope that helps!

Oh, good to know! I have a question and would be grateful if you could answer:

1. Will we lose our days at Universal, SeaWorld & the zoo (we want that option) if we upgrade to 5 day park hoppers before using the other days?

Thanks in advance for any information you may be willing to share.

Mahalo!

Mahalo!

We upgraded ours last year (thanks to advice on this board) to a 5-day hopper pass before we used the other passes.

When you present your Citipass at the gates they will give you regular a 3-day hopper Disneyland ticket. You can then upgrade this ticket at the ticket booths and the credit will be applied as explained above.

It's easy peasey.

If I upgrade my city pass to I lose the Sea World, Universal Studios, and Zoo. Can I up grade to AP. Each pass was $306. How much more for AP? Don't want to lose other tickets tho.

That's awesome news. Thank you for the clarification and confirmation. Mahalo!

Just wanted to reiterate that you don't lose your days at SeaWorld and Universal (and the Zoo, if you purchase that option) when you upgrade. You can upgrade to any higher-price ticket, including an annual pass, and you get a credit of $250 for an adult CityPASS and $235 for a child CityPASS towards the current gate price of whatever ticket you are upgrading to. Hope that helps!

Thank you for your response. That helps immensely! Mahalo!
