Updates on Stitch's whereabouts at Ohana?

We have an Ohana breakfast scheduled for Saturday morning on January 20, 2018. Past reports have noted that Stitch is no longer in the restaurant mingling with the crowd, but meeting guests in the line outside the restaurant and acting as host/greeter/line supervisor. However, I believe I read a recent report that noted that Stitch WAS inside the restaurant and mingling with guests. I don't know if that was an exception or if he can be scheduled inside or outside on a day to day basis.

Has anyone been to Ohana breakfast lately, and if so, was Stitch outside or inside the restaurant?

Thanks!

We stayed at Polynesian in late October/early November and he was located outside the restaurant every morning. :) May be different now though.

We stayed at the Polynesian over the summer, and then just a few weeks ago we ate at ‘Ohana and passed through the lobby during breakfast hours another day. All of these times (at least 5-6) Stitch was meeting in front of the restaurant. I’ve not heard anything about him inside the restaurant recently at all.

We did Ohana breakfast in early December. Stitch was outside the restaurant at the end of a voluntary line greeting guests and having pictures taken. By the time we got through the line and our pictures taken the pager-like thing went off and they were ready for us.

We did not see him inside the restaurant.

We ate there last Sunday and Stitch was back in the restaurant, though that might have been a seasonal thing.

They are testing Stitch back inside the restaurant but without a photo pass photographer. I don't have a date as to when this test will be over.

Same here, we ate yesterday at ohana and he was there.

These recent posts give me hope. I'll cross my fingers that this test runs through January 21. :)

Thanks everyone for your updates, I appreciate it!

We ate breakfast this past Friday and he was going around to each table.

We also asked for bacon and they brought us a large plate with our breakfast (I know this has been a concern of late for people since they switched to ham)

Not being at all snarky, genuinely curious - is there a reason you prefer he come to your table? Just wondering because we’ve done both and we all (including 6 yr old Stitch obsessed son) preferred the meet out front. It was one less interruption during breakfast, and more importantly - it was in front of a nice backdrop as opposed to in the restaurant where we had tables, food, other people, etc all in the periphery/background. Out front was not rushed or anything, plenty of fun character interaction just like at the table. Also - it gave us something to do while we waited for our table to be ready.

I really prefer the set shots outside the dining locations. No background clutter, and why not do that instead of waiting to be seated? But I do think some do the character meals to avoid waiting in lines, and it does add another line. Also, some characters add life to the dining room. Take the Mad Hatter out of the dining room at 1900 PF (which I think they tested recently) and the dining room isn't nearly as fun.
