Updates for Caskbill DVC Tracker & New Level Upgrades Available

I know this thread is about the tracker program, BUT, I'd thought I'd post this thread about the Chart Program v2.5 here.

I just went to Caskbill's page and downloaded the new and updated DVC Chart v2.5 software. (At least it says so at the top of the page) I compared the program to the Disney' published charts for 2011, and found the program to be inaccurate.

In particular, I was focusing in on a 2BR @ VWL. During Dream Season 2011. Disney published rate of Sun-Thur of 44, the program says 39 and Fri-Sat Disney rate of 49 vs the programs 59 pts.

I then went over to the Boardwalk Grand Villa and for the same 2011 Dream Season, got the Disney Published rate of Sun-Thur of 93 vs the programs' 84 pts and for Fri-Sat 105 pts vs the program's 127.

Just want to warn people of a possible problem, I hope I'm the one in error....

Or did Disney re-allocate points in 2011 that I am unaware of?

DVC reallocated points for 2010 and 2011. DVC-Chart was updated for the 2010 reallocation, but not the 2011. Per Peg, it will not be updated again.

DVC Tracker Users

I was unaware of any errors in the day allocation of points in the Dream Season in DVC Tracker. I will get with my software support to see if we can address issues in planner and chart which are still not updated as of this time.. Thanks for pointing this out to me. I want everyone to know that all attempts at updating and accuracy are of the highest priority.

I watch these boards pretty closely and was aware of the 2010 point reallocation. However, 2011's reallocation escaped me. That explains everything.

Sorry to say Chart and Planner do not have the points updated based on the new allocations. ONLY TRACKER IS UPDATED CURRENTLY....have to decide if we have enough information/ source code trail left by my husband to change these two programs also....will announce if this will be done...or if it beyond our control as created by my husband.

Click on the Caskbill.com listing below my signature...that will take you to the initial DVC Tracker site. Since you now have obtained over 300 points you can use the entry level- or first phase of 300+ pts. If you have been using the free level and want more access. I need to know how many specific points you have. Then you purchase the next level. Prices should be on the website...send me a PM once you have gotten that far. I have PayPal set up for Payment.

Has anyone else having trouble adding a secondary PC when one (or both) are Win7-64 Bit? Keep getting errors at the phase where the primary is supposed to be reading the thumb drive for info about the secondary.
