UPDATED: Tickets from Maple Leaf and Virgin

I ordered Disney passes from them on 31st December, which shipped on 2nd January. So far they have not arrived.

I ordered Orlando Flex tickets THIS Wednesday and they arrived this morning! 3 days!

I understand they keep photocopies and theres no problem about replacements, and I'm not going for another 6 weeks!

How long should I wait until I can start being worried about my Disney tickets. I understand there could be a backlog of Christmas post in the US.

While I am here...

When do Virgin usually send out my tickets?

Can't answer your question about Maple Leaf but Virgin send out tickets 10 - 14 days before departure.

Post from the USA seems to behave quite diferently! Things sent from there on the same day (no postcards) in my experience can arrive at quite different times.

As you aren't going for another 6 weeks I think I'd be inclined to leave it a few more days and then consider asking them to send replacements.

we ordered from Mapleleaf on Tuesday so I will let you know when they arrive. I have to say I have never ordered tickets this way before and I was a bit apprehensive but the actually called me on Wednesday and they couldn't have been more helpfull.

We have used MapleLeaf before but have always collected our tickets from their shop in Kissimmee.

Have you contacted them about the delay?
They generally respond to e-mails very quickly.

I dropped them an email and they said often 10 working days! Not sure I'm convinced as my Flex Park tickets only took 3 days.

They were good with their reply:

I'm afraid you just have to sit tight. There was a major back up with the postal service because of New Year's by 2-3 days. Shipping to the UK takes 5-7 business days. So you should get your tickets sometime next week. We do make copies of all tickets shipped so you have nothing to worry about regarding the security of your order. Keep me posted.

Hopefully they will arrive Monday or Tuesday.

Have sent off another email to them.

Maple Leaf are quick with their deliveries which makes me think my tickets have been lost/stolen. I just hope they send me out replacements.

My Virgin tickets arrived on Saturday 4 weeks before we leave.

Sadly, my Disney tickets have not arrived and Maple Leaf accept they have been lost/stolen. They are being delivered to my hotel and should be there waiting for us when we check in.

I don't have much choice now really. I won't risk them being sent now. I cannot pick them up as we arrive on the Monday, (late afternoon) and have Breakfast reservations at CRT on the Tuesday.

I really, REALLY hope they are there when we check in....

Mapleleaf do not send out replacement tickets if yours are lost - they will send you the information necessary to get replacements from Disney.

Mine were delayed last time - by a few weeks - but they did arrive eventually although I was expecting to have to sign for them - so sit tight

Well, Maple Leaft told me the Disney tickets were returned. Our useless postal service sent back my Disney tickets! They should be waiting for me at the hotel when I check in on MONDAY!

This time next week we should be getting ready for our ADR with Cinderella.
