MK has an hour added? on some days that don’t have Boo Bash but AK has One hour added except for Mon/Tue; are we getting after hours parties released at the last minute? were these hours like this all along? Why AK has different closings?

I had Boma at 8 (first week of Nov trip) and Ohana at 9:10 pm, which will now have to be moved. Or will the hours not extend into Nov.

Park hours are changed frequently, sometimes no more than a few days in advance. There is no way of knowing... I suspect this is a reaction to the recent crowd levels. Generally, the more crowded the parks, the longer the park hours.

The first week of Nov is apparently Jersey week where teachers have days off towards the end of the week, so our trip will probably be impacted by changing hours

MK added an hour 11/5; closes at 10 now; we have Ohana at 9:10 pm and this throws another monkey wrench a week before

Not sure I understand the problem? Are you trying to time Enchantment? Why not go enjoy Ohana as you had planned?

Park hours suddenly changing; I wanted to change this day to AK. Usually people won’t leave their seats if they’re seated right before fireworks and our reservation will get pushed to after fireworks (too late for kids).

It will also throw off people of they booked a dessert party and dining based on fireworks being at 8 pm and now they change to 9 pm

Edit: Oct 23 (and Oct 30) is also 10 pm close and Enchantment is at 8, so I guess they aren’t changing times for other things (good).

I don’t think updates to MK park hours usually result in updates to the time they do fireworks…. When I was there in July and they added hours to MK it was after the fireworks and in part was a way to prevent everyone from leaving the park at the same time (when fireworks ended). Your dessert party reservation times probably are the same time and your O’hana plans are probably still fine as well.
