Updated Park Hours...June?

Is there any chance they could add an EMH on a Saturday morning in June?
Trying to decide between Saturday and Sunday 22 or 23 for MK and that would mess up my plan completely as we rely highly on rope drop!

Anything is possible, but it would be very unusual.

I was hoping they would have changed the early AK on 6/29 to 7am from 8am but they didn’t. The Saturday before is at 8. I go 6/27 to 7/3. I didn’t see any difference in the hours for those days

Obviously coming in after July 4th (July 5th) but interesting that they extended AK to 10PM close on the 5th and 6th but none of the other park hours were changed.

Your best bet is to look at Touring Plans calendar from last year.

Another note about July. I took a look at last years hours for the time period I am going and noticed the following.

July 5th-10th, 2018
MK - 9AM-11PM on the 5th and then 9AM-10PM through the 10th.
Epcot - 9AM-9PM everyday
DHS - 8AM-10:30PM everyday
AK - 9AM-10:30PM

July 5th-10th, 2019
MK - 9AM-10PM everyday
Epcot 9AM-9PM everyday
DHS 9AM-9PM everyday
AK 9AM-10PM on the 5th and 6th, 9AM-9PM through the 10th.

The thing I am really looking at is DHS. Obviously they just opened Toy Story Land last year but do we think those hours will extend anymore for this year?

I have never been for the 4th or near the 4th so what are crowds like the day after and would it warrant extended hours? Obviously they seem to warrant an extra hour at AK on the 5th and 6th.

Also still holding out hope for any after hours events from the 5th to the 10th.

Will do, thanks! DD and I are going in July and are looking forward to Evening EMH at MK. June hours on evening EMH Wednesdays were extended. Hoping that will be the case for us in July.

What I found this year is whatever you see from the year before on EMH on the month you're looking, typically will be the same next year. I think the only AM EMH in MK for June is Friday.
I know things change when something new arrives, but since that's not happening in June, looking at last year's calendar should help.

Changes for our week, 6/15-6/20, are pretty underwhelming for the days we chose for each park; with the only noteworthy change being the MK hours on the 19th. I was hoping for AK and HS extensions.

I'm looking for FOP on June 25th in the evening. I know they just extended AK hours yesterday.

Ah. yes, if you are out of FP entitlements then you won't be able to check for a day where you don't have FP's. I'm sure people here would be willing to check for you or else you would have to look at dropping FP's from a day where the current selections may not be as difficult to add back.

I could cancel our Epcot FP's and then check. So far there seems to be plenty FP's available for the rides we want.

MDE is not letting me check even with an AP. I guess because that date is not in my onsite stay dates. I don't think I have ever seen that before. Anyway, I checked the Dibb and it says there are mornings available for it, so I would think evenings are available, too.

Yeah, Epcot is way easy to re-book.

Yeah, since 6/25 is outside of 30 days from today and not a part of any stay you have booked, you can’t look for FPs then at the moment. That was a part of some of the recent changes with rolling windows and such. FWIW.

I personally don’t think they will extend any DHS hours until SW:GE is open (simply because they haven’t in June or the busy July 4 time).

I’m just hoping the lack of extended hours means crowds are down a bit. I know Pete was talking a while back on the pod about how bookings seemed to be down, so here’s hoping that’s still true

It doesn’t seem that they added a second Fantasmic or ROL to any dates in June. I was really hoping for two shows in July.

I was able to modify mine to morning earlier today for 6/26. It looked like select afternoon time slots became available too. But yeah, I'm only seeing late night now.
