Updated Mabel pictures

Below are some updated pics of Mabel. She is growing so fast...she is a small horse!!! She loves to suck on blankets and pillows...and her favorite thing is to hide her bones/rawhides all over the house!!! It is just so funny where I run across some of them!!! She will be 7 months old next week.

Oh...and my new laptop is so cool...typing right from my upstairs bedroom!!! And the pictures are so much easier...just have to pop my memory stick in the side!!

She's a beautiful Weim! They grow so fast!

How is she doing with the chewing?

Both of my Weims had something they'd suckle, it's a comfort measure for them.

With our first Weim, it was blankets/comforters. With Shiloh our current Weim, it's pillows! I've read that it's a common trait among this breed! Briar (first Weim) would fall asleep with a blanket in his mouth! It would be hysterical to see the look on his face when he woke up, like "how did that get there?"

She is listening alot better each day now...I think she is finally learning!! The chewing of things isn't as bad as before.

It is so funny when she gets going on sucking her blanket. She just started off with this sleeping bag...she won't chew it...just grab a hold of a section and just start sucking away...using her paws like a cat would...like "kneading" dough!! It is always funny to watch....cause her eyes will slowly close and she too falls alseep with it in her mouth!!!

She just recently started with the pillows...well, DH's pillow to be exact!!! LOL!! DH works nights...so at night...it is "Mabel's pillow" I guess! DH isn't too thrilled about that.

And any bone or rawhide she is given...she will hide...well, sometimes just put it in a totally obvious place not even hidden...it is just so funny to watch her do that and look for that "perfect" spot!! Then, every now and then she will go and find one to actually chew....

She is quite a nut!!!

It's funny to watch them get going with the blanket or pillow, isn't it? Their paws are going just like a cat (as you stated.) For anyone that isn't familiar, it's a site to behold!
