Fullham also has a 3pm match that day against Norwich City (I think) if Tottenham doesn't work out, so of the two, I should be able to get tickets to a game. I hope..

No guarentees (of course!), but that game is one I would say is likely to go on general sale. Bear in mind that if/when it does the remaining tickets will sell out very quickly, I would aim to be on the ticket website 0930 UK time on the day they get released to general sales. Looking at the website that is currently due to be the 23rd Feb, but please check nearer the time, I wouldn't want to be responsible for your missing out!

If I were in your position I would probably sign up for a lillywhite membership for yourself and then take advantage of the 1 day extra booking window that members have for booking guest tickets. But obviously this would cost more.

Swansea have just been promoted to the Premier league this season so I expect the tickets will be in the lowest price catergory (a good thing already) as WedgeH mentioned this is one of the games that is likely to go on general sale but like every Spurs game tickets will sell out pretty quickly so follow the advice to be ready on their website at 9.30am UK time on 23rd Feb to book tickets or ready to telephone the ticket hotline.

Will you be staying in a hotel in London at the time? if you let us know which one we can advice the easiest way to get to White hart lane

I went ahead and booked the tickets through Thomas Cook site. They probabaly charge more for the tickets, but this way, I am gurenteed a seat.

I am staying at Premier Inn County Hall for the one night that the thomas cook site required me to book. I figured the day before the game, I could do a tour of White Hart (or two days before depending on if the game changes to Sunday or Monday night). If the game ends up changing to another day, I might try to book another game for the same weekend. We will definately tour a few different club stadiums.

Any information on the best way to get to White Hart would be so helpful.

In regards to getting there you best bet would probably be underground train & bus: Found this info for you,

Bus:
Line 149, 259 & 279

Metro (Underground):
Seven Sisters Station on the Victoria line (20 minutes walk or change to bus line 149, 259 or 279) & Tottenham Hale Station on the Victoria Line (20 minutes walk).

Someone might have a better idea, last time I went my dad drove.

If you walk across Westminstr bridge from your hotel and get the Circle (yellow) line from Westminster tube station to Liverpool St station and from there you can get a train to White hart lane station

The Tottenham Swansea game has been changed to Sunday 4pm. Cross your fingers that Fullham doesn't change their Saturday game and my son will be able to get to both!! We are scheduled for the VIP tour of White Hart Lane!!

I wanted to thank everyone on this board. I will keep you updated as to how the surpise went down. It is a few months away still, but you all have been so helpful to me, I wanted to give you an update.

Did you have a chance to get to the Fulham/Norwich game? You would have seen US international Clint Dempsey score for Fulham if you did - but then he scores most games these days.
