Here is current information regarding shows, parades, etc. for both parks:

Disneyland

Believe... in Holiday Magic fireworks spectacular now performs daily through January 5, 2002, replacing Believe... There's Magic in the Stars which goes on hiatus for the holidays.

Minnie's Christmas Party, a new holiday show, performs at the Fantasyland Theatre stage now through January 6, 2002. Minnie Mouse holds her annual Christmas Party and, along with Goofy, Chip 'n' Dale, Pluto and Mickey Mouse, decks the halls with joy and laughter. There's plenty of seasonal fun, holiday carols, and a few surprises, too. The show does not operate the weekend of December 8 & 9, to allow for the traditional Candlelight Ceremony.

Animazement - The Musical, has ended its theatrical run at Disneyland.

Disneyland Parade of the Stars is on hiatus for the holidays beginning November 18, and returns in January.

A Christmas Fantasy Parade, complete with Mickey, Minnie, Santa and his dancing reindeers, runs daily November 22 - January 6, 2002.

Fantasmic! returns in Summer '02.

Calling All Space Scouts...A Buzz Lightyear Adventure performs daily at the Club Buzz Stage in Tomorrowland.

The annual Candlelight Ceremony, a Disneyland tradition, will be presented this year on two nights, Saturday & Sunday, December 8 & 9 inside the Fantasyland Theater.

DCA

Disney's Eureka! A California Parade, goes on hiatus on November 25, and will resume in Summer '02.

Disney's Electrical Parade continues its nighttime performances each evening through January 6.

Goofy's Beach Party Bash performs daily on the Hollywood Pictures Backlot Stage.

Steps In Time, at the Hyperion Theater, has ended its inaugural year run, making way for a totally new theatrical experience. It promises to be, well, quite a blast... stay tuned.

Disney's LuminAria lights up Paradise Bay and runs November 9 - January 6, 2002. The show features new pyrotechnical effects never before seen in a Disney show, and climaxes with thousands of candles magically appearing from beneath Paradise Bay.

Hopefully when it returns, it will be a new and improved parade.

Totally bummed about this but what's a girls to do

Any clues to what this new show will be or when it will begin? I am sure there is no hope that it will be for Thanksgiving weekend. My girls will, however, be disapointed that Steps in Time has been cancelled they were looking forward to seeing it again.

I am looking forward to seeing this. Anyone seen it that wouldn't mind giving some insight ??

Michelle,

Do you know what the plans are for the Electical Parade after January 6th? I'm hoping it will still be there on weekends as DH and I are coming out to DL in early February and would love to see it again (saw it twice at WDW).

Thanks!
