It's almost time for VWL tree # 1 to be on the road!! We're just waiting for the "go ahead" and I think there's still a few dates we can accomodate!

Are there any DIS at VWL for Christmas who would be interested?

goofy4life, do we overlap in dates? Should I bring the tree right to your room on the 14th when we check out?

I will pm Laurabearz and see if she could drop the tree off at the SSr for you and you would have to ship the tree back to her, there will be donations to help with the shipping.

We'll be at BCV from 12/10 to 12/17. I see from the last update that the BCV Tree #2 will be free during the 12/13 to 12/17 period. If that is still the case I'd love to get on the list and just pick up the tree from the prior member on 12/13. Thanks!

wdwstar and families of the SSR traveling tree - I have shipped the tree down but the list is somewhat different than the one posted above. I sent it down with the PM info you sent me, wdwstar. It is guaranteed to arrive on November 9th. To get it there a day earlier was going to cost $90 so I sent it guaranteed ground on the 9th. I didn't know what number tree this was so it is not on the outside of the box. I do have a black felt tip pin that one of you can use to add it, however. I will be PMing each of you also.

I just wanted to say what a great concept and nice thing to have organized. A big effort that I'm sure is much appreciated by the families who get to use the trees. It's one of the things that makes this DIS community a great place.

Hopefully something like this will still be going when and if (waiting on ROFR) I get to WDW for Chirstmas as a DVC member, maybe December 2007.

scrappindeb at this time i dont have your dates avaliable. We had to combine our tree list for ssr with the bwv 2nd tree because the ssr tree became unavaliable and if you look under the bwv 2nd tree you will see that your date are not avaliable and the tree is already been shipped down to the resort and there really wouldnt be a way to add your name to the list. sorry.
