Update to 2007 Dining Plan

Well it seems like according to AllEars that many more restraunts have been added to the Dining Plan. The list can be seen here

That makes the 2 of us for Chefs. DH and I were gonna eat there regardless if it was on the plan or not, but now its back on the plan thats less money I have to come up with now for my trip cuz now we will be using our TS credits there.

mmmmm, food is good! Happy to see everythings back to normal. I was very upset to see Earl was not on original list. He is there now. Can't wait to have an ultimate grilled cheese!! YUMMO!

I doubt it was public opinion, my guess would be that the brochure went to press before they finished confirming with the restaurants is all. Massive printings of things like that need to be set up weeks, sometimes months in advance.

For large print jobs I'm sure they need a good lead time, in addition it may be difficult for non disney owned restaurants to understand that htere is a need to know the details six months in advance because that is when the real planners will eb ready to book ADR's. Without solid information it is difficult to do that, but signing contracts and such can take a bit longer when legal gets involved so having everyone on board at the exact time 180 days opens up can be difficult.

No, really I don't want to gloat but it is the same thing that happened last year! Many Epcot restaurants were added after the fact.

I know because I opted for the dining plan when it first came out and was very pleased when many other restaurants were added!

It was not public opinion.

When the brochure came out, and everyone was all upset about the WS restuarants and CSR and mean old Disney, I told everyone to wait and see before jumping to these conclusions.

It was simply a matter of negotiations were not finished with these particular restuarants, nothing more.
