Hey, we were at DHS the same day!!!! I've been looking in your pictures for me - I was wearing a blue "Disney" shirt and a grey skirt, and Lou was wearing a matching white one (a shirt that is, not a skirt).

What Lights, Motors, Action show did you see? It looks like you sat pretty near us! When I get there in my TR, you can look for yourself!

Hey, I'm liking your trip report, so far! SSR looks beautiful! I've never seen the inside of it. We will be staying at the tree houses on our upcoming trip, so we'll be right next door and will probably spend a lot of time at SSR. The tree houses are practically on SSR property. We're not DVC, either. It was just a good deal for our large group. It was either rent one tree house or two rooms from somewhere, and the tree house was less expensive.

It is a really beautiful place to stay and a quite place to return to after a day at the park! We passed by the tree houses but never went inside. I've seen the sketches and it really looks very homey! Are they less expensive than 2 rooms? How big is your party? I planning bring my cousin and her family maybe in 2010 0r 11 and I never book for more than 4. I hope you post photos to see how they look!!

I was out the weekend (doing a road trip from Roswell NM, to my home (Clearwater, FL) helping my brother-in-law move in to FL. So I haven't being able to post more. But tomorrow I'll do an update!

It is a really beautiful place to stay and a quite place to return to after a day at the park! We passed by the tree houses but never went inside. I've seen the sketches and it really looks very homey! Are they less expensive than 2 rooms? How big is your party? If you check out allears net Deb shows lots and lots of pictures and video of the inside. They look fun and I do think they look homey. They are 500 a night and most rooms with two beds we were looking at were upwards of 250, so for us it was a better deal. We have ten people in our party. I will certainly post photos and do a trip report when I get back, but we're not going until January, so it will be a little while!

Hey Everybody!

Last time, I let you hanging with the Parade @ HS! Here are more photos to kick off this update!

After the parade we decided to visit the Magic of Disney Animation! We started with the interaction with Mushu! I always crack at that one! I love it! We moved along a notice this,

It was fun see her work, did you notice her gloves?

Turning the corner we found....THE MOUSE himself in his Fantasia's robes!!! Of course we did the line for a photo. When I approached him and he noticed my beads, he started to react like he couldn't believe I was 30! I'm a photographer and I was a little disappointed that the Photopass guy wasn't taking pictures of that. Oh Well! It was fun looking at him react surprised an everything. But at least there is a photo (this is from my camera, we are waiting for the CD):

We also had time to snap one with Frozone!

We wanted to see the Animation Academy, but it was getting late for our ressies at GF (1900 Park Fare). So we planned to do it after dinner since we wanted to go back for our TS fastpass.

We arrived at GF 5:10pm for our 5:45pm ressie. We checked out and they gave us one of those infamous beppers. The ones that you hate when you are getting very hungry...Oh Well! Time to explore the hotel. Half of the second floor was under remodeling so couldn't appreciate the hotel entirely. I liked the hotel but I think if we had the money for this kind of hotel, we'll choose the Poly instead. It is gorgeous but not our taste! We took some pics:

We weren't a Disney Wedding Couple, we wanted all our friends and family to be there, and we knew some of the closest and more important ones couldn't be there. So we decided for a homey wedding (And we have no regrets!!!!) But we dream to maybe have one of our vows renewals @ Disney.

In the meanwhile, some pics @ the iconic (and what I like to call) Bridal Stairs!

Ok I think by this point we were getting really hungry...

And the lights turned RED ...YEAH!

Some of the salad part de buffet...With which I found out I'll never be a decent Food Reporter...I always get excited about food and forget photograph EVERY part of the meal....too bad....It was pretty good, though!!

He was talking about how he was a little nervous because his IN-LAWS were in town, and he never knew what could happen!!!

When Lady Tremaine came, she asked us if the food was good and if everything was in order. Then we pose...I couldn't just smile with her at my side....so I stroke my pose of evil stepmom the best I could...

Anastasia and Drizilla were quite far from our table, so we went for the dessert...



After finishing, our server came with this!

The put a placemate with the signature of all the Park Fare character and the delicious cupcake. As the GF can make it!

Now it was Anastasia turn. Let me tell you, she was great! She was loud and very into herself...She would sit at your table and start talking and talking...
When she came to our table and she noticed my Birthday pin, a conversation came as follow...
A: Is he (DH) treating you right?
Me: yes!
A: Did he buy you many diamonds and jewelry?
Me:...Uh? No...but I don't...

Then she started yelling...
A: MISTER, YOU HAVE TO BUY HER JEWLRY. SHE LIKES IT. YOUUUUUU BUYYYY HEERRRR. DID YOU HEAR? SHE DESERVED JEWELRY!!!! YOU BETTER BEHAVE...

then she tuned to me and said: See, I'm helping you here....and the photo..

My BFF...HA!

DH wanted a picture with her too, but after the "incident" she made a face...

Dirzilla was more quite than her sister, but everything she said was related to herself. "You want a photo with me because I'm beautiful" "It's a honor meeting me" stuff like that.

Can you see part of the placemate?


We were done by 7:30pm, almost in time to return to HS for our 8:35pm FP @ Toy Story Mania.

We arrived near 8:20pm and the next "course" for the Animation Academy was about to start. Since it only last 20mins we decided to do that before the FP.

This is a must for us now! It is a lot of fun and a great way to have a "free" souvenir...THAT you MADE YOURSELF!!!

When we arrived to TSM, was almost 8:55pm. The cue line was for 120mins!!!!! Unbelievable!!!! I guess We've never been so close to an opening of a ride!

The inside was decorated filled with details and colors. We fell in love with the details on the crayons...some were new, some were used and even the color of the used one makes sense with the colors kids tend to use more.

And of course, the obligatory photo with the glasses before entering!

The ride was great!!! I can understand the lines now much better.

As soon we exited the ride, it started to shower. But we wanted to see Fantasmic, so we headed to there. The line was big. We started the line at one of the store in the boulevard. But got good seats anyway. I couldn't take any pic, because of the rain but the show is always a favorite and, even with the rain, it will always be!

Now, time to go and sleep...so, to the bus stops!!! When we arrived, our line was pretty crowded but the AllStars were horrible! at least the have multiple busses running and it seems to be moving pretty fast...(Thanks again, Tink, for the upgrade!!!

As soon as we arrived...we crashed...we were drained....but it was worth it!!!

Now we are not staying at CSR. My mom works for Hilton and we get an amazing discount so we are staying at DTD Doubletree Suites. So does anyone know if they would have the birthday buttons or if I can go to MK on Monday when we get there (first park of the week) and ask for the button early? I think my daughter would enjoy the extra attention. The other thing would be to go ahead and get DD and DHs first time buttons early. I just want her to feel like such a princess. That's what will make this birthday perfect! I can't wait and I am loving your trip report!!!!

He refused at first, until our 2007 trip when he bought the black and red (his fav colors) Mickey Crocs. He wore them and figured they are great for parks specially if you move from wet ride to regular one. Now he loves them! And besides, they are better styles now. Maybe, Lou needs to tried them...

You can go to ANY guest Relations @ Disney and they will give you one. You can also ask for one from you that only said "I'm celebrating" and you can write with a sharpie your DD and DH names! Also, sometimes they have them at Will Call at the parks entrance. If you want to have them ahead, the best way is going to Downtown Disney (since you don't need park entrance or anything) and ask for them there the first day. The Guest Relations there is between Team Mickey Athletic Store and Arribas Brothers.

BTW, Did you register them with Disney online for the birthday free entrance? If you haven't, you should, even if you already have your ticket for that day. I explained it a little at beginning of the trip report for Day 2. They give you the option of fastpasses, a gift card (worth $79) or a ticket for another day. It is worth it! I got my souvenirs from the gift card!!!

We did! So sad you had to move! We've been here for 8months and loving it so far. It makes us feel like home (Puerto Rico):beach, sun and hurricane seasons!

It was! I was kind of scare because it wasn't my first option when I did my ADRs but it was one of the one available for that date. We don't regret it! Toy Story Mania is fun! So bad the lines are that crazy! HA!

Hello Everybody!

Our third day started with a pretty day. We decided to eat at EPCOT to get there faster, but ended up being not such a good idea. We entered the park and headed to Sunshine of Seasons. But before I stopped for some pictures:

We found Daisy but I was to hungry to make the line, so I snapped a pic from the distance:

We got our Fast Pass for Soarin and bought some food. It was good but not great. We didn't care that much because we had a ressie for Biergarten for lunch. We headed to Test Track before soarin' and tried the single riders line. I enjoyed the ride, but found out that I like it more when I know DH is with me!

We entered Innovations to kill some time before our FPs. We found the new IBM area in which you can create your own simple game. The only problem we had with ours is that My shirt was the same color of the background so, it looked weird. But it was truly fun! Basically you are send to a small area in which following the instructions they record you jumping, running and doung a victory dance. Then, you move to one of the computer stations and play the game. You can email the link of the game and play it at home. It is a simple game but it was fun seeing yourself in it!

On the side, it was the velcro area, in which you can "adopt" a velcro frog. This is a ours:

We explored a little more around and snapped a couple picture more before entering to Living Seas:

After that, we were ready for our FP so we did Soarin' which both always love!! By the end of Soarin, we were ready to enter the World! Mexico was first!

And of course, we couldn't keep walking without having a Mango Margarita!

Since we've been @ Epcot a couple of time and we have seen every detail, we decided to do a quick run of the favs and spend a little more time in the stores...

@Canada. I don't remember how old is the new "Oh, Canada" video, but with the addition of Martin Short it is more catchy and fun to watch!!!

Being Possessed by a Nordic spirit!!!

At China, we found Mulan...she is one of my favs so I had to!

It was close to our lunch ressie, so we headed to Germany!

We had to wait a little while to be called, but it is worth it! We were seated with another couple and a family of four next to the stage.

This is me once again, being blind by food and forgetting to get pics...the only one I took of the food!

I took some video of the show, I need to upload them...I like those guys, they are talented and funny at the same time!

When we got out we were passing by the US Pavillion and the Fife was starting.

They selected a bunch of kids and the pledge allegiance to the Flag

We walked to Japan and found the storyteller we fell in love with in 2005. In our 2007 trip she wasn't there...but she is back and funnier than ever!

I'm going to leave there...because I'm kind of tired(long day)....but here is a great scene to hold until I come back with another update....

Hi Everybody!

Sorry t taking so long to make an update but I've been working on my thesis and it's being crazy...

Last time I let you with the beautiful view of Spaceship Earth through the gates of Japan and the amazing Storyteller!

After her performance, is the drums performers. No matter how many times I see them I'm always mesmerize by the show and have to stop and see them. If you haven't....YOU SHOULD!!!

Before leaving...we decided to take a pic...

We kept walking and found Mary Poppins in England...Being one of my favs....OF COURSE I DID THE LINE TO SNAP A PHOTO. That's a movie I can see every time!!

There was a band called: "The British Invasion" playing all time favorites from England, we took the opportunity to seat down and relax a bit while listening to great music.

Back to France who pose for pic (trying to capture the Eifel Tower replica)

We window shopped a little and I had to take a pic of the beautiful stain glass window:

Since our dinner reservation were @ Morocco, we decided to get there and enjoy the music:

The line for Aladdin was long, so I decided to snap a pic of them from the side...I love it, because the look like a couple!

After that was almost time for our ressie. We walked to Marrakesh to find a PACKED restaurant. A lot of people in the waiting area and some of them very angry and hungry because they ressies were running late! We checked in and at first the noise and commotion was so laud that the guy told us that we could go in, that they were full. "What? How about my ressie?" I asked again and he apologize for the confusion and put our name in a list. 5min later we were headed to our table. I guess is easy to accommodate 2!

Finally at the table:

My drink which I can remember the name but it was SOOO GOOOOD!

The dining plan here doesn't include an appetizer but we decided to buy one anyways, and I as a bad food reporter, forgot to take a pic of it! We shared the fish and was delicious!

We ordered the baclava for dessert. Little I knew it included a pretty candle and music!!!! Our server had asked to one of the musicians that plays for the belly dancer to come and sing and play for me. They sang Happy Birthday in Arabic!!!

I thank her for the detail, even though the place was packed they took the time to make my time there special! We were going to skip Illuminations because we were tooo tired but when we got out the Marrakesh it was just starting and we couldn't take our eyes from it!

After Illuminations, DH remembered that I haven't rode the Spaceship Earth (was on refurb in 2007) and that it was EMH. While everybody was heading out, we headed to SE...I really enjoyed it! I'm a sucker for History...what can I said!

We played for a while after the ride and then headed to SSR to crash in the bed...
