My sister is 20 weeks pregnant, on Thursday she miscarried/delivered Twin A (boy).
She is in the hospital on total bed rest.
They have her on IV antibiotics and magnesium sulfate to prevent delivery of the second twin (boy).
Doctors are hoping to keep her pregnant as long as possible to give remaining twin a chance to grow. If they can stop all contractions (one a day right now) and keep infection free she might have a chance.
I've been reading lots of medical abstracts and stories of other moms in this situation.. there is a possibility of a miracle..
Thank you

UPDATE
I wanted to thank everyone for prayers and well wishes.
My sis is at home now on bed rest, almost 22 weeks along now.
No further contractions and no infections. She goes for an OB appt next week .. she may be returning to hospital for observation since she would be at week of viability for her hospital (23 weeks). We all hope she continues with the pregnancy as long as possible.
Thanks!!!!
