The plan 3 nites at the Nick with the free birthday nite.

I have called them at least 1/2 dozen times. The first time I was told $667 and then you will get your birthday nite free, after you prove it is your birthday(price $458).

Book the flights.

Call Nick NO that is your price with free birthday nite included $667. What? Didn't book that- the person gave me a different telephone number to try.

Called the next #. No guy #2 was wrong you do get that with your nite off that price, so price $458. OK. Hang up confir with DH-yes, book that.

Call back, transfer to an supervisor. NO the price is $667, so takes $20 off a nite, and ways $25 resort fee. Called another day to ask a question, told them my tale, and she said the supervisor was wrong it will be $458.

Leave it a month. Notice I haven't got a email confirmation. Called yesterday. Was told price was $458, asked them send me a email. Get the email price $237 a nite, with a resort fee. Hey that's not right.

Called today transfered to a supervisor, was told I'm the one who told you I would give you $20 off plus resort fee off-price will be $538. I am annoyed, can't they get it together? I'd love to cancel and just stay at disney the whole time, it would be double points to stay weekend at DVC and I'm not sure anything is available, and we doing Nick for the kids. Plus the kicker my email still says resort fee $25 a nite. I don't want to call back. I don't feel good vibes.

And last week it was $169 plus the $50 food credit which was cheaper than the $538. But last week Nick told me I was better off with the birthday deal. I forgot about that call.

I would demand a confirmation to be sent to you. I have dealt with this same situation at another place that i go to (not Nick), its like everyone comes back with a different price. WTH!!!! Sometimes you have to talk to the right people. I have been to this particular resort a few times and now know who to talk to to get the right information.

I called Nick about a month ago looking to stay for one night in August. First price i was given was $215 (plus tax & resort fee around $260 total). I asked if there was any other rate that was better. Came back with a rate of $162 (plus tax & resort around $200+). I asked a final time is that the best possible rate she could give me, i was then given a rate of $115 so after tax & fee looking at $160 for the night.

Can you book it online? I always book that way and print everything out in case there is any controversy. If you have a confirmed reservation printed out there shouldn't be any problem.

And I thought Disney charged too much! I am sorry but I would cancel. For $200 plus a night this is the level of service you are getting NOW? WOW! If they can't book a room then what else can't they do?

not sure why they would all say different things. But I ahve stayed there 2 times and next week will be the third and I rave about the serivce and exp we had at the hotel.
But I do know when we were looking into the birthday deal it was at the set rate. It worked better for us to book without the birthday night free last time.
This time we were quoted different rates, but DH called and spoke with the higher up and said I just want to know the cheapest possible rate. We are getting 149 and 50 food credit for the 2 bedroom kidsuite

look at travelzoo.com for a deal. I found one there for 124 a night. I initially made a reservation for 1 night. then we made one for 2 nights. I kept both open beacuse we were undecided as to how long we would be staying there. I then found the travel zoo code and booked a third reservation. After it was completed I called and cancelled both other reservations. When we arrived and checked in they still had me down for 3 rooms! Luckily I had brought my cancellation confirmation numbers and the date I cancelled and who I spoke to.Otherwise I think they would have charged me.

With the birthday night free you have to book over the phone. I watched for a Nick travelzoo special, but somehow I missed it and I get the Wednesday Top 20 deal sent to my email. I know I love to cancel it cause they're annoying me. DH would actually spend more days at disney and not a water park. So I'm still considering cancelling all but one night. Undecided at this point. Thanks for your responses, I knew my DIS friends would make me feel better.

Thanks simonsmon I looked at Feb 7 posts. Still couldn't find it. Then I did a search of threads and under the $1 hotel seekers. I found a post from dancemom3 Nickelodean has a code (NONFL). That rate was $149 thur, $189 FRI and SAT. So birthday rate was better, they had removed resort fee. But I asked 3 times for a better rate. AND I mentioned I had been watching TRAVELZOO since December. They the reservationist states since you mentioned travelzoo, I can give you the rate of $114 for all three nites. I rebooked it AND asked the confirmation to be emailed to me now. So they rate is back to $469.00
