we got tix for a concert in the fall they are our hometown boys yet I haven't been... till now! DH, me and DD all are going!

We are too!! My DH just got the tickets online this morning when they went on sale. We are going to Alpine Valley in WI this fall. It is the tour with Motley Crue. What about you?

Oh I heard they are going to have an 80 foot plank out to the audiance... not sure if that is true or which venues they'll do it at.. but I hope its ours!

We bought tix on Thursday via the Motley Crue presale. Last summer we saw them and got 3rd row Orchestra seats through the fan club. It was INSANE!! Unfortunately, this time around I had problems with the site. As it turns out, those with Norton installed couldn't get in. Plus the sheer volume of Crue fans crashed the site. We still got tix, but we're in 102, row T. Not the best, but we're still there!! For you Aerosmith fans that may have never seen the Crue, you're in for a real treat. Have fun!!

Oh yea... all shows will have the 70 foot catwalk that runs out into the center of the arena. Its the same stage Aerosmith used when they toured with KISS. Its unknown whether or not Motley will be allowed to use it. KISS only used it in some venues on the last tour.

Aerosmith (well at least Steven & Joe) will be performing with the Boston Pops this July 4th concert here in Boston!!!!

DH is military & has orders to work M-T-W because of the concert. I just don't know if he'll actually be AT the Esplanade or somewhere else. I've ALWAYS wanted to go to the Boston Pop's July 4th concert....and NOW would be the time to go!!!!!

My brother also worked the July 4th a couple years and was able to get us family members in the tent right THERE!!!! Sooo cool!

I was wondering about that! But DH is communications, so I don't know where he'll be yet. He could even be at the state headquarters in M-i-l-ford for all we know. (DIS sensors that word out if I don't spell it like that. lol) He's part of the ISISS team that is used for emergencies (they went to NOLA) - capable of connecting all state agencies communications together (police, state, local, guards....). It a portable trailer set-up. But he's working M-T-W, so I would have to stay there or get out of the crowd & home alone.

cool, I love Aerosmith! My favourite band. Have not got to see them yet as they have not toured the UK since nine lives and I could not go as I was doing my exams, will have to come to the USA to see them, Maybe at Boston or NYC, its about a 7 hour flight though it worth it to see them.

Yay, I got tix to Tweeter! I've seen Aerosmith about 5-6 times since the 70's, now my DD16 will get to see them! I love it when my kids like "my" music!
