Update on Sophie Ritter: we need a miracle.

I have sent a prayer request to a group of Fransiscan Monks in Washington D.C.. Along with us they will pray diligently for Sophie's recovery.
Miracles can and do happen!

Sophie is holding her own at this point and continues to fight. The latest EEG shows that lower brain (involuntary) functions seem to be OK the higher brain (voluntary) funtions are not evident. While the doctors will not rule out the possibility that these may return in some capacity the chances are slim. Please continue to pray for our little girl, that she recieves the miracle she needs. Also something that has taken wing here is the wearing of a purple ribbon for Sophie. Purpule was her mother's favorite color and were her part of her wedding colors. If you choose to do this we would appreciate this as well.

Lynda and I thank each and everyone of our DIS family for all the support and prayers and know that God will provide us an answer and do what is best for our little one.

God bless you all.

Mike

I had my husband make this ribbon for Sophie as soon as I read this. You are in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless and much love.

We have been praying for Sophie and the rest of Lynda's family all this week aboard the Magic and will continue to do so. Miracles happen everyday, we are praying for another miracle to happen with Sophie.

This is just so heartbreaking! I find myself thinking about EmmasGrammy's family constantly. I will continue to pray for all of them.

I will be thinking & praying for Sophie tomorrow at 8:00 AM. I am hoping that she will be a little miracle & her special angels:angel:  will provide strength for her recovery.

LYNDA & MIKE: I can not even imagine what you are going through but your family are in my thoughts.

I think a group prayer is a wonderful idea! Also, at our church a few years ago, they handed out red dots to put on the face of your watch. Everytime you looked to see what time it was, you saw the red dot and that would remind you to say a prayer. Find a dot of some kind and place it on the face of your watch. Everytime we check the time, we can say a prayer for The Ritter Family. This way, they will get prayers coming all day long.

I have told all my family to pray for little Sophie and the rest of the family. Sat at 8am sounds good to me, count us in.

We are all pulling for Sophie....I am hoping for one big miracle, so they can start to put this nightmare behind them!

My prayers are with the family.

We will continue to pray for all of them.

Thanks for the update. I am definitely praying for Sophie and the family.
