So glad she seems to be doing so well. A friend of ours who has traveled to WDW with us several times, had this same thing a year and a half ago. She has some facial palsey, but it sounds like Barb is going to escape that. So glad to hear it, and we will pray for continued fast recovery.

I got another phone call from Pembo's DH Mark this evening (thanks Mark) with an update on Barb's condition.

On Friday, Barb was moved from University Hospitals of Cleveland to Lorain Community Hospital for rehabilitation. Monday she'll find out the details of her physical therapy. Mark may bring the kids to see her on Monday, but everything depends on how she's feeling. Barb is doing great. She continues to improve each and every day. Mark said that she has lost a lot of weight during her hospital stay, but that she has started eatting again. I joked with him about NOT telling the WISHers here on the DIS about her rapid weight loss. She told Mark to tell me that brain surgery was a lousy way to lose weight. I have to agree.

Mark printed out this thread and took it to the hospital to read to Barb. Both of them have been touched by the genuine kindness and caring shown in the replies to this post and for all the prayers that have been said in their behalf.

Continued prayers for recovery and for the patience necessary to endure the rigors of physical therapy.
