Update On New Boards

I just wanted to give everyone an update on the new boards.
I think they ran very well on their first weekday.
There are still some issues we are aware of and we are working on.

1. Search doesn't work yet. It will probably be a week or two
2. You can't upload new avatars. You will be able to....promise!
3. User title's aren't right yet, we are actually thinking about some new, cooler ones
4. AOL users are having ALL kinds of problems. Not suprising since AOL marches to the beat of it's own drum. I have recieved emails from a lot of AOL users having problems to the point where I can't get to them for a while. Here are some things to try:

Minimize your AOL browser.
Open up Internet explorer and see if you can log on that way
If not clear your cookies (tools, internet options, delete cookies) close Internet Explorer, open it back up and try again

Thanks for the update, I was wondering about Search. FYI I am an AOL user and haven't had any problems, but as I am typing this I remembered that AOL is not my primary internet provider so that may be why.

The boards seemed slow yesterday. They are a lot faster now.

e-mail notification is spotty at best. Most of the times I don't receive e-mail notification.

Do you mean the little icon on the left hand side that takes you to the first new post? It's now a checkmark.

No, on the old boards on the right side about 1/4 of the way down from the top there was a link to go and see all new posts on all boards. The posts weren't divided by the particular board they were posted on, just the time they were posted. Now I have to go into each individual board to look at new posts instead of having them all together in one place. This is great for people like me who don't stay on one particular board all of the time.

Now for the checkmark you're talking about, I'm still looking for it.
