Hi Steph (neighbor)
I had a breast reduction and eye lift January 31, 2006 (my doctor is in Riverside, Dr. Carli - he has his own clinic off of Sierra). It was very painful and took a lot longer than I thought to recover. In fact my eyelids are still red and the scars are sore, but my breasts are beautiful and so perky! Anyway, good luck, I am sure you will do great, just be sure and rest and take your pain pills (and other meds, I had seven precrip's) like the others have said. You will be bored and wanting to get back into your normal life, but you must be a good patient! Please post and let us know how things go to you! It really is worth it.
A coworker had this done in January. It takes a while for the swelling to go down, so don't be discouranged by that wrap. She's still wearing hers. Even with the swelling, her work shirt draped differently, and you'd think she lost 10 pounds.
I'm glad you're home and that the surgery went well. Please take good care of yourself (sounds like Chris is doing that already!), and let us know how you're doing when you feel up to it!
All my best for a quick and problem-free recovery!
Glad you are home. I hope you feel better soon. DD (Dark Dancer) is 11 days post-op and has stopped yelping everytime she forgets and laughs. Just concentrate on how GOOD you will look. If I ever feel free to spend the money I'm gonna go get my face lifted wayyy up.

Oh my... that was fast, but I remember your posts about how much it bothered you and glad that you had what you wanted done. I'm sure now you will have lots of time to DIS.
Thanks for the update. Hang in there brave one! I'm glad the surgery went well without any major complications. Hopefully soon you'll be pain free and Livin' la Vida Loca!
I am not quite as small as you body wise...but I have the same problem. People tell me how ridiculous that I am to want to have a tummy tuck. I have also had 4 kids and have an unreal amount of skin that I can tuck into my jeans...but naked is another story...lol. Good for you for doing this and enjoy your new tummy and chest
Oh, I just saw this thread...so glad to hear it went well...my sister had her breasts done a few months ago, I have to say...they look awesome.
I am sure you are in pain, so I am not going to make you laugh. Everytime I see my sister I say..."Can I just touch them one more time?" oops, sorry about that Steph, I guess laughter isn't always good medicine
