Update on my Mum

The good news is she is home now.

The surgeon performed a endoscopic examination and she has a stomach ulcer. They have taken a couple of biopsies to see if there are any abnormal cells. We will have to wait for a week for the test results.

I hope and pray that it is just an ulcer as they are treatable with diet and not anything more sinister as cancerous cells.

If you could keep up your prayers and good thoughts for her I would be grateful.

Last April, my SO had a panendoscopy and they discovered he had a peptic ulcer caused by h. pylori. They treated it with some kind of strong antibiotic cocktail thing (I can't remember what they put him on, but it had 3 things in one to cure the h. pylori). I hope that's what your mom has. Please keep us updated.
